Ever thought of appearing on stage  - or working with us to make a success of theatrical productions?  Maybe you've been on stage in the past and are looking for a congenial crew with whom to re-start. Despite our title, you don't have to have any connection with the school to join. The only criteria are the desire and the ability to contribute to our efforts. (Membership is open to those 16 or over, but some below this age are required for certain productions - so you could still have your “big break” with us.) Not all our members perform on stage. We have a stage crew, a front of house team and other non- performing folk. Naturally, though, most members want to perform, singing, acting, dancing or all three. Prospective singing members are asked to sing some notes to convince the MD that they can sing in tune and so that he can place them in the appropriate section. If you're interested in joining the Society, why not visit us at a regular rehearsal to see what we’re about? Contact the secretary (see the contact page) so that we can expect you, and ensure you know where and when the rehearsal is taking place. (Our regular rehearsal night for the whole company is Thursday. Principals rehearse more often.) We encourage all members to audition for principal parts.
