| LATEST - IKEA is
now in the scheme - for orders through their webstore only! |
| What is it? Our Webstore
gives you access to the web sites of over 100 suppliers, including many
household names. For every order you place with them, provided you have
reached them through our webstore, they pay the society a commission,
from 2% of the purchase price upwards. |
| What companies are involved?
They are mostly companies that you might already be dealing with, such as
M&S, Amazon, . . . but, why not just click the button below and browse
through the list of companies. |
| Is it just about buying? No, there are other ways in which you
can make us some money. For example, filling in an Experian survey will earn a
commission of £1.80 for the Society. |
| Are there any benefits for you - apart from the warm glow from
benefiting the Society? As you know, online prices are frequently lower
than High Street ones. There is also a useful search facility which helps you
track down the product or service you need and will often give you a price
comparison among the suppliers involved. Try it! The price you pay is the same
as though you went direct to the supplier's website. |
| Can anyone use our webstore?
Yes. You don't have to be a member to buy through
our webstore, so tell all your friends and relatives about it, so that both
they and we can benefit! Give them the web address of this website
(www.ourladysopera.org.uk) so that they can click through to the
webstore. |
| Is there a downside? Not really. Our
commission comes out of the suppliers' profit margin. |
| Why are we doing this? Simple - to make money
for the Society to help with our activities and performances. Each show now
costs us over £26,000 to put on, and ticket revenue hardly ever covers
this. Members already pay a lot for their membership and making purchases this
way is a pain-free way of adding to our revenue. |
| So what are you waiting for? Have a look!
We're sure you'll be impressed. |
